Terms of Service

Last updated: July 15, 2026

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Arcive. By creating an account, connecting a service, or using Arcive, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the organization you represent.

1. Eligibility and Organization Authority

You must be legally able to enter into these terms. If you use Arcive for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms and authorize Arcive to process the organization's data for the purposes described here and in our Privacy Policy.

2. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, protecting account credentials, and controlling who may access your organization's Arcive workspace. You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Connected Services

Arcive can connect to third-party services such as document, communication, source-control, and meeting platforms. You must have permission to connect each service and to allow Arcive to access and process its content. Your use of a third-party service remains subject to that provider's terms and policies.

You can disconnect a service at any time. Disconnecting may limit Arcive features that depend on that source and does not necessarily remove information already processed until it is deleted under your organization's retention or offboarding process.

4. Customer Data

As between you and Arcive, you retain your rights in content submitted to or accessed through Arcive. You grant Arcive the limited rights needed to host, process, index, retrieve, and display that content to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Arcive and the data you provide comply with applicable laws, internal policies, and any duties owed to employees, customers, or other individuals.

5. Acceptable Use

You must not use Arcive to:

  • break the law or violate another person's rights
  • access data or systems without authorization
  • upload malware or disrupt, probe, or overload the service
  • circumvent security, tenant-isolation, or usage controls
  • resell or reverse engineer Arcive except where law permits
  • use generated output without appropriate human review where decisions may materially affect people

6. AI-Generated Output

Arcive may generate answers, summaries, drafts, classifications, and recommendations using automated systems. Output may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed before it is relied on, published, or used to make consequential decisions. You remain responsible for how you use that output.

7. Service Changes and Availability

Arcive is an evolving service. We may update, add, or remove features and may impose reasonable usage limits. We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, including where third-party providers are unavailable or change their APIs.

8. Fees

If you purchase a paid plan, applicable fees, billing terms, usage limits, and renewal details will be stated in your order form or plan description. Unless required by law or stated otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable.

9. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Arcive at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address security risks, unlawful activity, material breach, non-payment, or harm to Arcive, our providers, or other customers. On termination, organization data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy and any applicable written agreement.

10. Disclaimers and Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Arcive is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim implied warranties and are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, or loss of data arising from use of the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, Arcive's aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount paid for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as Arcive changes. We will post the revised terms here and update the date above. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice where required. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected]. For details about how Arcive handles personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
